If you found this page, then you are trying to lose some weight. How much weight? Do you have a “muffin top” that is embarrassing when you wear certain clothes? You need to lose weight fast, enough to lose that muffin top at least. If you have those hideous muffin tops like I used to, don’t worry. There are ways to get rid of them once and for all! First of all, you need to forget about the fad diet programs. They don’t work, and in most cases slow down your metabolism to the point where you have no energy at all. Then, as soon as you go off the diet you quickly gain the weight back and usually more! Why is that? Because trying to trick your body into losing weight won’t work, that’s why. Of course you should change your diet, and exercise at least a little big each day for faster results. But fad diets that try to make you lose 10-12 pounds in a week are dangerous! So don’t do it…

Finding ways to speed up your diet, for one thing. You can easily speed up your metabolism by two main ways: eating more frequent, smaller mealsĀ each day for one. this really helps to speed your metabolism. Also, get some exercise each day! Even if it’s something as simple as taking a walk, start out walking just a few blocks if that’s all you can do. Believe me, it gets easier as you go along.
The thing to remember about exercise, at the same time it helps to speed up your metabolism it also helps to save your muscle. You see, when you just “cut the calories” out and don’t exercise, you aren’t just burning off the fat. You can actually lose muscle too! And that’s really, really bad. Because muscle burns fat, so you need to have as much muscle as you can to speed up the fat-burning process.

Of course you must also change what you eat, and a great way to start is by writing down exactly what you eat and drink every day. It may sound like too much work, but you do want to lose the weight, right? If you are like me, you forget what you eat sometimes. I couldn’t tell you exactly what I ate yesterday, unless I check my diet log. That’s where I keep my records of everything I eat, even if it’s something bad for me!
There are many other tricks using diet, not just changing what you eat but when you eat, too. Most people eat things out of habit, and mostly bad habits. Eating fast food, eating junk food, eating sweets between meals. If you are really serious about losing weight, you really have to think about what you are eating at all times.
